Cecelia Faye Wesson Mann

November 5, 1941 - July 12, 2019

Cecelia Faye Wesson Mann, Born November 5, 1941 in Bessemer, Alabama. Faye died July 12, 2019 after a courageous battle with ALS. Predeceased by her parents, Dewey and June Wesson. Faye is survived by her husband of 59 years, William C. "Bill" Mann; son, Brian Mann; daughter, Kelly Mann Holt, son-in-law, Jim Holt; grandsons, Johnathan Holt and Justin Holt; granddaughters, Rachael Mann and Arin Mann. Faye's grandchildren called her "Nana". Faye graduated from Bessemer High School in 1960, where she was a cheerleader. In addition to raising her children, she was owner/teacher of a dance studio for 15 years. Later in life, she was the receptionist at Pearce, Bevill, Leesburg and Moore, CPA's for 27 years. She loved all of the people there and they all loved her. Faye was truly a devout Alabama Crimson Tide football fan and she dressed appropriately every Friday before Alabama games and also on game day. She was a loyal member of Nick's Chicks. Faye was the greatest and the most beloved wife, mother and grandmother in this world. Everybody loved her. Faye was a member of and was married in the First Methodist Church of Bessemer and later was a member of the Pleasant Hill United Methodist Church in McCalla. Billy Wayne Morris, a minister from Anniston will conduct the services at Bessemer Brown Service Funeral Home. Funeral service will be Monday, July 15, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. with burial following at Highland Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Monday from 10:00 a.m. until service time.
