Elizabeth Jane Martindale

February 28, 1931 - January 16, 2022

Jane Shaddix Martindale left this life and went straight into the arms of our loving Savior on January 16, 2022. She was born on February 28, 1931. She lived her entire 90 years in service to others. She was preceded in death by her parents Jack and Elsie Shaddix , her husband of 55 years WL Martindale, her son-in-law Kenneth Maddox and her granddaughter Betsi Key. She is survived by her two daughters Lisa Cunningham (Jerry) , Vicki Maddox-Bush(CARY). Her eight grand children, Becki Dutton (Gareth), Lance Maddox (SONYA), Lydia Cunningham Micah Cunningham (Meredith) Sarah Ward(Drew.) In addition she is all survived by her her great grand children Kenslee and Daniel Key, Ivanka, Joshua, Caleb and Anna Grace Maddox, Maddox and Jack Dutton, Roan and Springer Cunningham and Carly, Ava & Brielle Ward. Jane or Janeo, as she was affectionately known to her family and anyone who loved her, served church as long as she was physically able. The last 20 years she spent in the nursery at Canaan Baptist Church. Jane grew up in Greenwood with her family and met the love of her life there as a small girl . They grew up and married. She would have been 91 on her birthday. A well lived life. Visitation will be at Bessemer Brown Service Funeral Home on Friday Jan. 21, 2022 from 10:00-11:00 a.m. with service at 11:00 a.m. Burial will be held at Valhalla Cemetery with Rev. Jerry Cunningham officiating and Lance Maddox will be singing.
