Jack W. "Debo" Norwood Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

In loving memory of Jack Wesley "Debo" Norwood, 69 of Bessemer, AL went to be with Jesus on March 11, 2018. He was preceded in death by his parents, Jackie and Tessie Norwood and survived by his wife Teresa Norwood; sister, Theresa Ridlespurge. He leaves behind a daughter, Wendi B. Morris (Shane); son, Steven Wesley Norwood (Kerri) and grandchildren, Chance Norwood, Cheslyn Norwood, Hayley Morris, Tucker Morris and Addison Norwood. Also, he is remembered by many nieces, nephews and other family members and friends. He enjoyed all sports, especially football season; he was a big Alabama fan. He also took Joy in Motorcycle riding, fishing, and spending time with family. He attended and graduated from Hueytown High School in 1969. He worked at Bristel Steel for several years and after that became a truck driver for the rest of his career, last at Ross Neely Systems Inc. He was dearly loved by his family, and they would like to thank all that have shown their love and support throughout his whole life. Funeral service will be Friday March 16, 2018 at 11:00a.m. at Bessemer Brown Service Funeral Home with burial following at Valley Creek Cemetery. Bro. Jimmy Bradford will be officiating. The family will receive friends Friday from 10:00 a.m. until service time at the funeral home.
